The Screen Saver cycles automatically though collection
images after the system is left unattended for a specified time
period, or when invoked by the user. The Screen Saver contains a
Standard effect, plus 12 Special Effects. These include: Mosaic,
Vertical Curtain, Horizontal Curtain, Coverage, Reverge, UPC Code,
Puzzle, Paint Can, Chips, Portals, Vertical Blind, and Horizontal
Blind. Images can be displayed in default or random order. Special
features including On, Off, Cycle Time, Start Time, and Quick Start
allow for user defined configuration of the Screen Saver. Perfect
for all size displays, each image is 640 x 480 pixels in size, plus
a image stretcher option can be used to fill larger displays. |

Slide Show
NextFeature Gallery Home Download
The Wallpaper Slide Show feature cycles wallpaper images,
via control buttons, in place of the windows default background
display. A control bar allows the user
to cycle through collection images via the forward, fast forward,
reverse or fast reverse control buttons. This unique feature allows
for a sequential slide show presentation of collection images by
the user. Step through a wallpaper slide show and show of your personal
image collections to friends and family. Images can be displayed
in default or random order. Special features including On, Off,
Cycle Time allow for user defined configuration of the Screen Saver. |

Browser Previews
NextFeature Gallery Home Download
 The Image Browser allows for thumbnail
previews of collection images. A drop-down text field enables users
to view all image collections when more than one collection is installed.
Double-click on any thumbnail image and the image is selected as
the current wallpaper image. Right-mouse click on any thumbnail
image and the image can be set to skip display, or edit it's caption. |

Puzzle
Next Feature Gallery Home Download
The Image Puzzle is
a picture game that tiles the image into squares and then mixes
up the squares. The object is to reassemble the image by clicking
on a blank free-space next to each square. Three levels of difficulty
make this fun and challenging for everyone. Special features include
Shuffle, Special Hints, Tiles Remaining, Just Solve-it and Help
instructions. The Image Puzzle can have it's own icon and be place
in a games directory if desired. A New Puzzle feature invokes the
Image Browser previews for a new image selection. You can visit

Pop-up
Control Panel
Next Feature Gallery Home Download
 The Pop-up Control Panel with
its clean design and intuitive layout contains options for configuring
the Screensaver, Wallpaper and General Display features. The Control
Panel can be easily accessed from the Control Bar. The General Display
options include: Display One or All Collections, Display in Default
or Random Order, Captions On or Off, Image Quality, Tile, Stretching,
Window Appearance and Pointer Style. |

Bar

 The Control Bar is invoked by selecting
the Slide Show icon located within the Windows Task Bar, normally
located at the bottom of the monitor display. The Control Bar is
a compact horizontal button bar which offers buttons which access
Slide Show scrolling, Image Browser, Pop-up Control Panel, Artist
Information, Image Catalog, and Help instructions. The Control Bar
can be minimized or closed. The current wallpaper image title is
displayed on a description field on the bottom of the Control Bar. |

and Capitol City Landscapes. This collection portrays all the major
attractions this beautiful city has to offer in one single set.
From cherry blossoms to bright city lights each image has been carefully
selected to capture the majesty and grace of Washington's most visited
and scenic hot spots. Everything from historic monuments to the
recently unveiled memorials, including the Korean War Veterans and
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorials have been included. This is

Create
Your Own Collections
Next Feature Gallery Home Download
Personalized collections can be created and viewed using
the Screen Saver and Wallpaper. Within the Image Browser a Create
Collection button exists which will assemble a given set of images
as a new collection. New collections can then be made the active
set using the Image Browser drop-down text field used to display
collections. The software will display either bitmap (.bmp) or JPEG
(.jpg) image formats. Creating personalized collections can be great
fun. This feature is only available on Windows systems. |

Washington D.C. Scenic Attractions runs on both Windows
3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Macintosh system 7.1 or later. Minimum
system requirements of 4 MB of RAM and 256 color make this an easy
to use package on almost any system. The program media can be downloaded
on PC or ordered
by mail. The order by mail version consists of 2 floppy disks
(3.5" HD) packaged within a standard single-size CD-ROM jewel
case. Disk # 1 is the program disk, disk # 2 is the images disk.
The same set of disks will run on both Windows and Macintosh environments.
Special installation instructions are required for some Macintosh
users. An instruction manual is included within the package. |
